Are you looking for a new clinical supervisor?
I provide supervision to:
- Counsellors
- Therapists
- Coaches
- Mentors
- Mental health professionals
- Frontline workers
About You
Are you:
- Neurodivergent? – are you looking for a supervisor who understands how your brain works? I’m late-diagnosed AuDHD and know how important it is to work with neurodivergent-affirming practitioners.
- Chronically ill? – I understand the impact this work can have while also living with chronic illness, and how important it is to build a practice that supports your needs.
- A trainee counsellor or therapist? – I know how stressful placements can be. I can support you if you already have a background that makes you comfortable working with risk, or if you’re receiving group supervision elsewhere but want some individual support.
- Building or starting your private practice? – are you recently qualified or trying to build something of your own while juggling agency and EAP work? I can help you work through the many decisions involved in building a private practice, including the legal, ethical and marketing steps.
- Something else? Please get in touch if you’d like a call to discuss working together.
How I Work
I use the Seven-Eyed Model of supervision that explores the relationships between the client, the supervisee, the supervisor and the work context. I adapt the work depending on what you may need at the time – this could be looking at specific client work, ethical issues, your work/life balance, employer difficulties and so on. I offer support and gentle challenge to help you grow as a practitioner while feeling safe enough to discuss difficult issues. Please note I can supervise individual adult client work, but not work with under-18s or couples.
I also offer consultation sessions around working with eczema, find out more about this here.
As a counsellor I’m an accredited professional member of the NCPS. I use a pluralistic approach and my main areas of interest are:
- ADHD & Autism
- Eczema & Chronic Illness
- Covid-Conscious Clients
I also have experience of supporting survivors of domestic abuse and other trauma. I’ve worked in private practice, agencies and EAPs. I’ve also worked as a support worker in drugs & alcohol services and as a Specialist Mental Health Mentor for university students.
I‘m LGBTQ+ and non-monogamy affirming, sex positive, kink aware, body and fat positive.
