Are you taking precautions against Covid and struggling with feeling out of step with the rest of the world?

You may be disabled, immunocompromised, caring for vulnerable people or protecting yourself and your community, frustrated by understanding the science while watching people around you live like it’s 2019.

Maybe you’re trying to uphold boundaries with family members that aren’t taking precautions, or trying to navigate co-workers making negative comments about your masks, scared that you might lose your job.

You might be struggling with Long Covid, battling to access medical support while trying not to be re-infected.

I realise how many people have lost friendships and relationships due to being Covid-conscious, and how hard it can be to build a community that understands your decisions.

It’s really common to wish you could forget everything you know about Covid and have your “old life” back, to question whether your precautions are worth it and still feel like protecting yourself and those around you is the right thing to do.

It can be hard to process what you’ve lost and build a life that feels true to you and your values when you don’t have enough support around you. I realise that many people have been told their precautions are “just anxiety” and that they should stop “living in fear”. You won’t get those responses from me.

How I can help

I can help you work through the grief, anger and frustration that you may have been holding in, explore difficult relationships and boundaries, and support you to build a life that has hope, meaning and connection.

How to get started

You can book here for a free discovery call. I understand that phone calls aren’t accessible for everyone so you can also ask any questions and discuss scheduling etc via email – contact me here and I’ll email you back. I also offer a half-price introductory session (video, email or phone) so we can talk about what’s going on for you and you can decide if I’m a good fit for you as a counsellor.
